The first featured architect, Ken Sungjin Min, founded SKM Architects in Korea in 1995. Over the past 30 years, he has designed numerous notable private and public projects, creating new urban and architectural values. His creative work spans various fields, including residential, commercial, educational, cultural, and office spaces. Rather than merely exploring Korea’s current urban social issues in a conceptual manner, Ken has consistently recognized these challenges as real, local concerns, proposing spatial solutions as an architect.

Ken also focuses on rural housing and has recently presented a new model for rural housing that integrates smart farm systems, addressing significant social issues. His investigation of locality is well recognized through projects such as *Ananti Cove*, which reflect the regional identity of the Gyeongnam area and Busan. These works, part of his efforts to create meaningful suburban spaces, demonstrate the new cultural possibilities that arise at the intersection of architecture and nature.

The exhibition featuring Ken Sungjin Min at Clayarch Gimhae Museum aims to explore his architectural work, which moves fluidly between the urban and natural realms. It highlights his ability to address social issues in both public and private sectors while focusing on the architectural potential of specific localities.
