Weihai Point Golf, Hotel and Resort, China (2009)
The villa units are articulated and sited in response to the natural rock topography, with each volume strategically positioned to secure visual privacy and optimal ocean views. A material palette combining light-hued stone that echoes the tonal qualities of the exposed bedrock and anodized stainless steel cladding introduces a calibrated contrast, enhancing the facade’s spatial depth and tectonic expression when viewed from the cliffside.

리조트 내 빌라동들은 자연 암반 지형을 따라 매스를 분절하여 배치하고, 각 유닛이 독립적인 조망과 프라이버시를 확보할 수 있도록 계획하였다. 암반의 톤과 어우러지는 밝은 석재와 이에 대비되는 스테인리스 발색 마감재를 조화롭게 적용함으로써, 절벽에서 바라본 입면에 매스의 깊이감과 조형성을 강조하고자 하였다.
