Juno Academy (2015)
Located along the main boulevard in Cheongdam-dong, Juno Academy establishes a distinct architectural identity within its urban context through a refined façade composition of steel curtain walls and anodized stainless steel louvers.
To mitigate the intense western sunlight from the street front, the louvers were meticulously developed through extensive model studies and mock-ups to provide effective solar shading while preserving interior views.
Although uniform in section, the louvers are oriented in varying directions, allowing the building’s façade to respond dynamically to changes in solar altitude, creating a living, ever-changing architectural expression.
준오 아카데미 (2015)
청담동 대로변에 위치한 준오 아카데미는 스틸 커튼월과 발색 스테인리스 루버를 적용한 정제된 입면 구성을 통해, 주변 도시 맥락 속에서 뚜렷한 건축적 아이덴티티를 구축하고자 했다.
대로변 정면에서의 강한 서향빛을 조절하기 위해 적용한 루버는 많은 모델스터디와 샘플제작을 통해, 내부 시야를 확보하면서도 효과적인 차양 기능을 수행하도록 하였으며, 루버의 단면 형상은 같지만 방향을 달리하여 빛의 고도가 바뀜에 따라 건물의 이미지가 자연스럽게 변모하는 생명력을 갖도록 하였다.
