New Project: AI Precision Machinery Research Institute
To maximize both sustainable energy performance and spatial outlook for the workplace environment, the west façade has been articulated as a sculpted curtain wall system with a corrugated profile that mitigates solar gain while enhancing interior vistas. Drawing inspiration from the process of machine tool skiving, this façade concept was rigorously developed into a refined architectural expression that synthesizes the company’s technological identity with a strong formal language, ultimately shaping a symbolic research institute that embodies its future-oriented vision.

지속가능한 에너지 효율과 내부 근무환경에서의 조망을 동시에 극대화하기 위해, 서측 입면은 햇빛을 차단하면서도 내부 시야를 확장하는 요철형 커튼월 파사드로 디자인하였다. 이는 머신툴 스카이빙(machine tool skiving)에서 착안해 정교하게 발전시킨 입면 개념으로, 기업의 기술적 정체성과 건축적 조형성을 아우르는 연구소를 디자인하고자 했다.
