The stepped hall of the SK Headquarter
The stepped hall spanning the 20th and 21st floors of the SK Headquarters connects the two levels into a single, open library-like communal space. Wrapped by a media façade, the interior offers a sense of visual and spatial openness, naturally encouraging communication and interaction across floors. With its generous ceiling height and open atmosphere—rarely experienced in conventional office environments—the space is designed to go beyond mere functionality, serving instead as a “shared forum” where people can gather, pause, and connect.
SK 본사사옥 미디어 홀
20층과 21층에 걸친 계단식 홀은 두 개 층을 하나의 열린 서재(Library)처럼 연결하는 공용 공간이다. 내부는 미디어 파사드로 감싸여 있어 시각적으로도 공간적으로도 확장감을 주며, 층간 자연스러운 소통과 교류를 유도한다. 기존의 사무 공간에서는 경험하기 어려운 여유 있는 층고와 개방형 분위기를 확보하여, 단순히 업무를 위한 공간을 넘어 다양한 사람들이 머무르고 만나는 ‘공유의 장’으로 기능하도록 디자인했다.
