Computer drawings may be free of error, yet that very perfection can paradoxically limit possibility and imagination. By contrast, the imperfect lines traced by pencil and pen—precisely because of their ambiguity—open up infinite potential. 유하니 팔라스마는 그의 저서 《생각하는 손》에서 "컴퓨터는 손과 뇌 사이의 촉각적 연결을 단절시킨다"고 경고했다. 나는 이 말에 공감한다. 컴퓨터 드로잉은 오차가 없지만, 그 무결점은 도리어 가능성과 상상력을 제한한다. 반면, 연필과 펜이 만들어내는 불완전한 선(Line)은 그 모호함 덕분에 무한한 가능성을 열어준다. #SKM #skmarchitects #민성진
