선큰과 인접해 배치한 상징적인 계단은 지하 대강당으로 향하는 주요 동선으로, 이동 과정에서 자연채광과 조경을 경험하게 하여 지하 공간임에도 공간적 개방감과 쾌적함을 느낄 수 있도록 하였다.
